It’s amazing just how much pride or shame is derived from the size of one’s penis. According to science, the global average for flaccid size is 3.61 inches (9.16 cm) in length and the average erect penis is 5.16 inches (13.12 cm). Porn would have you believe otherwise. It’s interesting just how much the pornographic industry has shaped our perceptions of sex. Not just men, women too. While men feel inadequate because they don’t measure up to the ideal porn star penis, women feel self-conscious about the appearance of their vulvae and their ability to actually accommodate a macro-phallus. Just like penises, vaginas come in different shapes and sizes. In truth, there is no perfect penis, no matter what the rumors say. Every woman has a different fit. However, there is an average. In other words, there is a master key that can please most women. Unfortunately, some men are below this average and may seek a way to rectify this.

Does Size Matter?
You may have been told things like “dynamite comes in small packages” or used a phrase like “I’m a grower, not a show-er”. Let’s put the aesthetic aspect of small verses a large penis aside and let’s look at more practical situations as to why you’d want to enlarge your penis. Have you as a man ever met a woman who is everything you’ve ever wanted romantically but unfortunately you cannot please her sexually. You’re just way too sexually incompatible. It hurts because you have so much in common but I guess it seems like you’d work better as friends because you just don’t have the girth or width to satisfy her.
This is a situation where we can simply sit back and say that size matters. Sometimes it doesn’t even matter how good you are at foreplay or oral sex, if you’re a little short in the penis department, your sexual partner may forever be left wanting more.
The unfortunate thing about having a below average sized penis is that it often feels like a disability. A disability that is culturally made fun of. What’s worse is that it’s not your fault that you have a small penis. It’s not a fault in character. Your genes and nature just let you down.
As human beings, we’re always looking for ways to rectify and add to what nature has given us. Penis size is no different. We’ve invented pumps, created exercises, pills and have even introduced enlargement surgery. Unfortunately, the efficacy of these methods has left a lot to be desired.
That’s why today, we’ve decided to review the latest trends in penis enlargement. Stem cell injections.
Before we talk about Stem Cell treatment for sexual disorders like a small penis or erectile dysfunction, we need to discuss.
Ineffective Approaches to Penis Enlargement
1. Combination Penis Enlargement Supplements
Combination enlargement supplements have been quite popular over the last decade. The problem is there is no research to vouch for their efficacy. Some men may report having harder are larger erections but this may be the placebo effect. There is no reliable study that proves that penis enlargement supplements actually work.
Another issue is their side effects. Some of these supplements may actually damage your body. These supplements have a heavy impact on your kidney. Some of them may actually have a negative effect on your blood pressure. So if you have a history of high blood pressure, you should stay away from these supplements.
2. Penis Exercises and Stretches
Jelking/jelqing, squeezing and stretching may actually have some effects on penis enlargement. The problem is you have to work hard to actually see these effects and they’re largely minuscule. Another thing to note is the penis isn’t an actual muscle. It’s made up of spongy tissue that gets filled with blood when you’re aroused. So stretching actually elongates this tissue. Sometimes scarring may actually occur and you may find yourself with erectile dysfunction or worse…
3. Stay away from Pumps and devices
These devices were actually made for Peyronies disease. Peyronie’s disease is a penis problem caused by scar tissue, called plaque, that forms inside the penis. It can result in a bent, rather than straight, erect penis. Most men with Peyronie’s disease can still have sex. But for some, it can be painful and cause erectile dysfunction.
You shouldn’t be using any of these stretch devices unless you have Peyronies disease. You could actually hurt yourself and the benefits aren’t even substantial enough to warrant the risks.
4. Penis Enlargement Surgery is not worth the risk
At this time, Penuma is the only penis enlargement surgery cleared for commercial use under the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) 510(k) regulation. The Penuma penis enlargement procedure has an out-of-pocket cost of about $15,000 with an upfront $1,000 deposit. So it’s very expensive.
The Penuma is a crescent-shaped piece of medical-grade silicone inserted under your penis skin to make your penis longer and wider. It’s provided in three sizes: large, extra-large, and extra-extra-large. Risks of the surgery include perforation and infection of the implant, stitches coming apart (suture detachment), implant breaking apart and blood clots in penile tissue.
Trust us when we say this – it’s not worth it. It’s way too expensive and the risks outweigh the rewards. The biggest risk of the implant breaking apart is that you might have to have your penis completely amputated.
So what works?
Injecting Stem Cells
Lately, there has been a round of articles talking about how stem cells could enhance the size of your penis. This all started when fitness author and biohacker Ben Greenfield, injected stem cells into his own penis from his own body fat. Ben Greenfield did not do it himself however, it was actually an experimental treatment done by someone at the US Stem Cell clinic.
So does this treatment actually work? There is some anecdotal evidence to suggest that it actually might work to treat erectile dysfunction. Some people who have gone through injecting stem cells have reported to having harder and stronger erections. The problem is changes in size may be transient as some of the cells may be reabsorbed into the body.
You can inject stem cells but you can’t really tell them what to do and stem cells usually work to fix damaged tissue. If you have a perfectly fine penis, what can the stem cells really do? You also have to be careful with injecting them as cysts may form. Not to mention the possibility of them changing into cancerous cells.
Even if you inject your penis with Stem Cells and it stays bigger, it might not be quite what customers imagine. A cosmetic risk would be “uneven lumpiness” as the fat stem cells may not be evenly distributed or could grow in a not entirely even way.
Ever heard the saying “Be careful what you wish for or you just might get it”. This saying applies to penis enlargement as well. In your quest to get a large penis, you may find yourself with a large but dysfunctional one. One without sensation and that cannot be aroused. Imagine walking around with a large sack of meat in your pants. No one wants that. So instead, learn to appreciate what you have. Lose some weight and get healthy so you can enhance your sexual prowess in bed. Learn other ways to satisfy your lady. If lesbians can do it without a penis, what’s stopping you? I know this won’t be a definite remedy to your penile issues. Hopefully, in the future, we’ll be able to find a way you can enlarge your penis both effectively and safely.
